Learn To CrossFit: LEVEL 1
The purpose of our Introduction to CrossFit Course is exposure and skill development of our basic movements and philosophy. It is designed to prepare you to enter ongoing group classes. We will hammer technique to ensure your safety and SUCCESS as you enter the CrossFit Springfield group classes.
Learn to CrossFit will be held three days a week for four weeks. Price for all 12 sessions is $161.40. You are considered a full member of CrossFit Springfield with access to all classes offered here for the duration of the course. Classes begin the first tuesday of each month and meet at 9:15am or 5:15pm on tuesday, thursday and friday. Class length is 30-45 minutes.

We will introduce you to technique and mechanics first, then intensity.

We will be showing you movements that begin with the relatively non-technical and progress to the technical movements under strict supervision of our incredible and knowledgeable trainers.

You will go through a CrossFit work out at the end of each session that gets progressively more challenging as the course progresses.

It is important that you are here for each of the 12 sessions as these movements build on one another.

The difficulty of these workouts is ultimately in your hands…the degree that you push yourself will determine how much your body is put through. The class is designed to get you ready for the intensity of CrossFit in a safe and ‘do-able’ way…we want to ramp you up to the level of intensity and output that is inherent in our group classes.

LEARN TO CROSSFIT: LEVEL 2
The emphasis of our Learn to CrossFit Level 2 course is to provide more specific development of technique, skill and strength to execute the Olympic/Power lifts utilized in CrossFit programming. This course is a continuation of the Level 1 Learn to CrossFit class, building on the fundamentals, but getting specific about executing more technical CrossFit movements.
During each of the 12 sessions, athletes will review and warm up with basic CrossFit skills, then focus on a specific lift, learning proper position, pathway and transfer of energy on the bar/ball/kettlebell, etc. A CrossFit style WOD, using the skills covered that day will proceed each skill session. We will focus on building strength and skill by teaching techniques for developing both. Practice of the movements and techniques taught in class in imperative to your success, both during the course and outside of it.
Learn to CrossFit Level 2 will be held three days a week for four weeks. Price for all 12 sessions is $161.40. Classes begin the first tuesday of each month and meet at 10:15am or 6:00pm on tuesday, thursday and friday. Class length is 30-45 minutes.
