The “Girls Gone Wild” WOD was recently introduced by 2009 CrossFit Games men’s winner, Jason Kahlipa (owner of CrossFit Santa Clara) in his weekly WOD challenge. In order to be considered, you must send in a video of yourself performing the WOD. The week 5 challenge winner was our friend Jake Howard of CrossFit Valley Park in St. Louis with a time of 4:45!     Hahaha…I was about to remark on the exact same thing Meggin!! But I’ll tell ya what….the way Jeremy killed that wod, he could have been playing “My Heart WIll Go On” by Celine Dion and that video would have still carried some hardcore testosterone with it.

    10:03 Rx’d. It is sick and twisted how in love I am with this new workout. Such an awesome combination of exercises. Except the DU’s. They are not–and probably never will be–my friend. Chance, you did a fantastic job leading this morning! You really helped me push through this one. :)

Jeremy your lucky I’m not as strong, quick, or generally in shape as you cause I totally would have beat your time! Paul E. some day I’m gonna take your knees out!

    Crap if it took meggin only ten mins then I need to add atleast 10-15 mins on top of that so i should be done around 20-25 mins, and it won’t be rx. Just depends on the double unders and the pull ups.

    4:28rxd! Kent filmed and counted for me. Thank you kind sir. Great wod. I had no idea this would happen with the time off I’ve taken and how ripped up I feel after yesterdays wod. I’m pumped though. After watching my video back, I did miss a couple double unders and didn’t lock out a couple clean and jerks at the top, but otherwise felt strong!

    13:28 with everything rx’d except the clean and jerks (115 lbs), the thrusters (75 lbs) and the DUs. Ok, so I’m just stilled psyched to be doing pull-ups. Double-unders are next on my list of skills to overcome.

    I finished. That’s it, not telling you guys my times anymore. Just goin for the finish for, oh, 7 more months!
    BIG THANKS to all the new CF coaches! You guys are doing incredible! Jeremy and I learned how to teach with just Canyon, Ashley G, Danielle, the Beckers and Rob in a small room with one bar. You guys have it alot harder with 20+ people per class! Everybody is doing so good!
    Another big thanks to Miss Dayle for all of your help over the years! We love you!

    9:43-ish? downed the weight from 135 to 115 and didn’t do the double unders…so I guess that makes my workout “Girls Gone MILD.” Justin did a great job of leading the “Brightsiders” at 6 this morning.

    Paul E. this is why I love Crossfit, because anytime I offer to videotape someone outside the box they say I’m a pervert, but in our lovely little sweat box people actually encourage me to!

    9:50 RX. I royally suck at double unders; they probably took 3 minutes!
    I met Momma White this afternoon! Extremely cool lady. She informed me that I was the only one in the gym who scared her. Me! I thought I only had that effect on small children… Jessi and I both thought it was funny. She’s VERY nice and is working hard. I know her daughters are proud; they have reason to be!

    11:35, would have been rx if I was coordinated enough to do double unders. I did try, but after 20 rope lashes to the ankles (without ONE complete DU), I broke down and did normal jumps.

    Steve B, sorry I tried to steal your jump rope. It WAS pretty awesome. I had a brief moment there when I really wanted to keep it. Lesson to all…I have no permission filter. :)

    Jay, so glad you got to meet my mama! She’s an amazing, amazing person. She makes people happier just by being around them. And you’re right…I couldn’t be more proud of her. :)

    i think you guys are all way amazing, but quit giving meggin all the beast compliments….she’s gonna get the big head…actually, she always has had the biggest head of all 4 of our kids….she smiles and busts it out and mary beats herself up even though she has had the stinkin flu for over a week! oh boy. anyone else need a mama out there to lecture them? i’ve already taken on jessi and jenesis. and met today who i thought would be my nemesis. don’t ask me why, but jay miller has scared the crap out of me ever since if first saw him. i train with jessi at 3:30 and at 3:45, like clockwork, in he comes. silent, methodical, focused, no emotion. i’ve been pretty sure he was the unofficial sheriff of BoxTown and was soon to tell me to get out of town. Jay, you were great and made me feel so much better by talking to me instead of running me out of town. :)

Jessi, did you beat Macy’s time? Is that why you aren’t telling us yours? ;) Jay, you are correct. My mom is a bad ass mo fo. Liz Y, I repeat: you are a beast. Mimi (Mary) you HAVE to stop stealing everyone’s s***. And Mom, I do NOT have a big head! And I cannot recall one single time in 365 days of Crossfit where I smiled while I was busting it out. I don’t smile until after I have cried and thrown up. That is all.

    In order to silence the smack-talking smurf known as Smithson, I wore a 40lb. vest for this WOD. I then realized it wasn’t enough and filled it up with Quik-crete. After RX’ing it in 3:21 I was disappointed with myself, and hit Mel’s second round with triple unders and one-handed situps. My time shot to 3:02. Nobody witnessed this, you must take my word for it. I think that’s how it went.
    That or 13:01 with massive amounts of cheating.
    I loved that it was just me, Island Mel and 46 of our closest friends. However, Kent The Pervert was nowhere to be found filming men without shirts on. Someone musta called the fuzz.

    12:42 or something like that, weights weren’t RXd and i haven’t even tried double unders yet, but i did all pullups RXd so i am super pumped about that.
