11:49 rx’d. This WOD pushed me way outside my comfort zone.
Way to represent Jeremy and Brian.

Awesome job guys! It was great seeing everyone make it. What a gas! Those WOD’s were brutal. Hope you had a safe trip back. Looking forward to traveling with you in April. Let’s all try to book the same hotel so we can party all night!

10:32 Rx’d. Was shooting for under 10, but those damn OHS always slow me down. I got to them at around 6 minutes and didn’t move on to front squats until 9 something. Jeremy, Brian, and Cherell: I was already super proud and impressed with you guys prior to doing this wod, but after finishing it I am leaning toward you maybe not being human? Insanity.

They’re definitely not weiners…

8:53RX Thanks Chad for the help and thanks Brian for letting me jump in there and get it going.

Can we put that on a shirt? “Definitely not a weiner.” Little Charlie is a genius

7:53 rx’d beat last weeks time, that was the goal, so i’m happy with that. this wod is probably in my top 5 most hated, so i probably need to do once a month lol to build up stamina. amber, way to push through! through sweat, pain, and maybe some tears you didnt give up! way to tell that wod whos boss

That. Was. Miserable. 15:50 Rx’d…but to be honest, some of my reps were pretty pathetic. I wanted to quit around minute 8. I saw Jen C and Shannon going at it, and they kept me going for awhile longer…beasts! Then Kathy came over and talked me through the last 5 minutes or so. What is it with the burpee/barbell WODs that make my eyes sweat? It’s not tears. It’s eye sweat. Put THAT on a t-shirt.

9:52rx’d! That was a nasty WOD!!!! I was worried I would not make it all the way with the rx weight but pushed through! Kathy you are a machine and Way to finish Rx Amber! That was some heavy weight! I love the t-shirt idea btw Amber! We need to get Jeremy on that one.

Kathy B and Melissa W your times are better than the women in the top ten at qualifiers yesterday! That is so cool!

12:50 with some heavy modifications to the burpees that I’m gonna call “hiccups”. Was reduced to a puddle of shame by the end. Mostly, I’m thankful that my nemesis “Thunderchicken” Llewellyn wasn’t there to beat me half to death for my hideo-awful form. Congrats to varsity traveling team! ps- I noticed how Kent really stepped it up once he tore his shirt off, threw it aside and got down to the business of getting down. Way to deliver the Payne!

8:56 rx
I somehow knew this would be the wod today! Awesome time Kathy, what was you time prior to today?
Posted on February 15th, 2010 at 3:02 pm
9:57 RX’d. Hit my sub 10 min goal but still wasted to much time, I can’t wait to take another crack at this WOD. Nice work Brian S, next time you get to go first so I know what I have to beat.

15:35 RX’d. Once my heart rate slowed down below 210, and my lungs started actually moving oxygen I made a near impossible travel to the men’s restroom to yack. This was torture! I can say I survived but that would be a lie. First WOD that caused me to yack. Maybe it was all the talk about eating raw eggs before the WOD. Thanks Kathy for bringing that up. Glad to be done. Way to kick butt everyone! Coach B, Jeremy, and Cherell- you all did awesome. Looking forward to tomorrow’s WOD. Will it be Clean and Jerk 155# AMRAP in 5 minutes? Only time will tell.

16:49 Rx’d! Holy Sh*tballs! That was badass! I just kept telling myself “NO MORE BURPEES! KEEP GOING–SO YOU CAN STOP DOING BURPEES!!!” Was proud to knock out 14 OHS in one round. Progress
Jeremy, Coach B, Cherell–Glad to have you back! This place is bursting with pride for your accomplishments! Love you guys!!! Finally–I will gladly buy an ” Its not tears. Its eye sweat” T-shirt. Gladly, I say.

I think i contracted the swine flue after that one. This is by far the worst i’ve ever felt after a workout to date. Fight Gone Bad feels like a rest day after this awful thing! I drove home after the workout with both windows down in my truck trying to keep myself from passing out! its been T-minus five hours since i completed the wod and my heart rate is still elevated at what i would say is an unhealthy level. finished in 7:43 rx’d,,,and almost R.I.P’d

Love the idea for the t-shirt saying Amber.. Jeremy, we need this one! LOL

Let me just say…….the words I would really like to use I haven’t said in a really long time. I feel really good but really beat down at the same time. Thank you Shelly & Jeremy for helping fight through to beat the clock even though I didn’t do the last 5 min or so of burpees. I am proud that I RX’d up to the point of OHS. My time was 19:49. Thanks again for lifting me up everyone!!!

P.S. First time I experienced eye sweat!!! And almost met mr. pukie!
Posted on February 15th, 2010 at 7:12 pm
About 12:40 Rx. Row class before hand spent me. Great WOD. I’d like to do it again soon!!! (Cause I’m a sicko!)
Posted on February 15th, 2010 at 7:21 pm
8:35rx. This sucked. Took everything I had to hold pukie in. I hit a giant wall with overhead squats, and at one point almost dropped the bar on my head.
Posted on February 15th, 2010 at 7:24 pm
8:37 rx’d. I didn’t really know where I was when the last ten front squats rolled around; I think my brain may have been trying to weenie out and die. Mad props to you guys that killed this one this weekend! BRUTAL.

Posted on February 15th, 2010 at 11:46 pm
13:43…no RX by a longshot, I can still barely lift the bar with no plates! It was so impressive to see the strength in people pushing through this workout. Mary…you are my hero! You killed that workout…and after a row class, too!
