  4. Jay Miller Said,

I can’t wait to see how many PR’s are made today! Chance and I did this on Thursday and both of us had new PR’s. 3-2-1-GO!

  5. Paul S. Said,

Wow. FGB crushed me today. 291 rx’d, PR. Increased my PR by 21 from early November. Great 5 a.m. class. This was an extremely difficult way to return from a week in Mexico.

  6. Nick Hartman Said,

303 RX’d PR. Jeremy told me to get 300 and I thought he was crazy. My previous pr was 224. Great WOD, definitely one of my favorites.

  7. Uli Said,

Since it was the first time doing it, I’m gonna go ahead and call my 234 a PR. “Baby steps, Bob, baby steps”. Mad props if you remember the movie this came from.

  8. Will Said,

2 PRs today. 8:15A Row class – 1000m in 3:32 (after Cindy Kick our Butts with a seriously killer warm-up: +3000m). Followed up with the 9A FGB – 279. I think my previous was 243.

  9. Andy Said,

I got 210Rx, can only go up from here.

P.S. The movie is What About Bob.

  10. Sarah Said,

No PR today for me but it was my first time to do FGB rx’d! I got 189 rx’d! Sweet. Baby steps is exactly right, Uli.

  11. Meggin Kremer Said,

674 Rx’d. Kidding. 239 Rx’d. The last time I did FGB I got 252, but that time we used the 45 lb bar, so I’ll count this one as a PR. Not to mention I fell over backwards on a parallette during my first set of wall balls AND chipped a nail. That should count for about 50 more reps. Big props to my partner, Amber, who killed it this time. And to Kathy, who is NOT human.

  12. Meggin Kremer Said,

Forgot to mention that, after a year of doing Crossfit, this is the closest I have come to throwing up. Gotta love that.

  13. Amber Ennis Said,

247 Rx’d, PR! That is one insane WOD that never gets any easier. I told Meggin beforehand to keep pushing me to the limit. She was a great motivator! How is it that one minute seems so long and so short all at the same time?

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 2:26 pm

  14. Jake Said,

I’d like to suggest that this wod needs at least 2-3 more adjectives/adverbs thrown into the title. (I’ll let you all decide what that should be). First official time on this one: 261rx’d. I enjoyed the partnering up. It keeps us accountable on our rep counts (no fuzzy math) and it helps getting that extra push. I wouldn’t mind seeing more of this on future wods. Everyone was very motivating at the noon class…no better place to push yourself. Great stuff!!

  15. Casey Said,

250ish Rx’d. New PR. I hope I wasn’t the only one that puked from this. It was brutal.

  16. Erik Cochran Said,

295 RX and PR. On November 2 (last FGB) I scored 268 rxd. Big step up today. 9 a.m. group was great. Stuck around and watched Jeremy torcher himself to the point of yacking. Strong work with Elizabeth bro! Then counted for Kent, also strong work. Then yelled at my wife, always a strength builder in our marriage. Jen did awesome. Then counted for Canyon- strong work bro. Looking forward to Super Bowl left overs and tomorrow’s WOD.

  17. Canyon Said,

253 rx’d. Far from a PR for me, but that may have something to do with this weekend’s activities… Big thanks to Erik for sticking around for me.

  18. kathyb Said,

317 rx’d…new pr for me, but cud’ve been more if i cud ever learn to FOCUS! when will i learn there are no timed breaks in FGB? ugh! oh well..as much as i am scared of this fight i think i need to do once a month to overcome the nerves on it lol :) great job everyone who pr’d! and thanks meggin for the comment ;) luv you!

  19. Brian Smithson Said,

309 RX. First time doing it for me. I have looked forward to doing this workout for a while. Great 9 am class!

  20. Ronnie Lightfoot Said,

Uli- “What about Bob?” What do I win?

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 4:15 pm

  21. Jen Cochran Said,

205 rx’d today. My last # was 258 with 45lb bar, 10lb wall ball, and push jerks (as it turns out). Today, did actual push press :) . So glad to get this bastard over with. I was sick all day worrying about it…as usual. Gotta love “the fight”, though. Thanks for the cheering, Erik and Crystal. FGB requires yelling in your face for a successful outcome.

P.S. Uli–What About Bob is one of my favorite movies of all time.

  22. Jessi Grove Said,

Man, you guys, there are some great numbers up here. Fight Gone Bad is one of my favorite days in the gym. It’s hard not to just leave it all on the floor with this one, there is no half a@#ing FGB. Congrats to you all.

Notice that I didn’t say this is one of my favorite WOD’s. I am quite content here in Mexico. Went for a run by the ocean this morning…only ran to get to breakfast, then much less motivated! No CrossFits down here, absolutely none. Miss you guys! Have a great week!

  23. Lee Peppin Said,

347 rx’d. first time doing this WOD for me and after an hour of rowing plus fight gone bad i was needless to say 100% exhausted!!

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 5:53 pm

  24. Lee Peppin Said,

i mean 247… gave myself a little to much credit

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 5:55 pm

  25. Rob Lee Said,

271 as Rx’d. Canyon I was most def feeling this weekends festivites but this is a PR for me. Still not feeling like I am back in the swing of things after my break but we are getting closer!!! Hopefully next time I can find 29 more reps to break that infamous 300 mark.

  26. Lisa Said,

Hey Jessi – hope you are having fun in Mexico.. Jen was a great coach today!

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 7:55 pm

  27. Beth M Said,

Almost rx’d again and getting closer. 189 with rx’d first round then had to switch to 10lb ball. Having trouble handling the big fat 14 pounder…I was thinking the whole time about running on a beach in Mexico……..

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 8:12 pm

  28. Mary Said,

285 rx’d (new PR, last one was 267) and I think even my eyeballs were suffering from O2 deprivation by the end. I made the mistake of not looking at the WOD before I showed up for rowing today. I came back for FGB anyway, which officially makes Crossfit the most painful thing I’ve ever paid money for.

Props to Jenny tonight! Don’t care what you say. You did a great job. You also have the best one-liner of the evening: “I taste pennies.”

    Can’t wait for Ironman tomorrow!

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 8:25 pm

  29. Mary Said,

And Uli: “I’m sailing! I’m SAILING!”

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 8:27 pm

  30. Jenny Mhire Said,

Mary, I am SO impressed by the work you did tonight! My favorite part of the whole night was adding up your reps at the end! Thank you so much for pushing me when all I wanted to do was crawl up into a ball and cry. :) That wod literally sucked the air right out of me…dang asthma! That one hurt bad. 210 Rx-just happy to finish.

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 8:52 pm

  31. Mia Phillips Said,

198 RX. I’ll take it. That number can only get bigger. Thanks to my partner Matt who pushed me to do just one more when I felt like I couldn’t.

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 9:17 pm

  32. jen tate Said,

259 rx’d. Wow, this was tough, but i beat my score from 11/2/09 and i rx’d it this time. Yay!

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 9:25 pm

  33. Tom Brazeal Said,

I haven’t been in Crossfit long but it felt good to get my first Rx on a W.O.D. I enjoyed the butt kicking from my first FGB, eventhough I only pushed out 188 Rx. It was a great day and Thanks to Chad D. for pushing me through it.

  34. Amber Ennis Said,

Jenny, what do pennies taste like?

Posted on February 8th, 2010 at 10:04 pm

  35. Jessi Grove Said,

Amber, did you do Fight Gone Bad today? Or have you done Grace? those nasty short ones are sure to put the pennies in your mouth if you are super curious! NASTY!! I know there is some great medical term I should be able to pull out, but my memory…
Amber it’s good to have you back in the WOD’s!

Posted on February 9th, 2010 at 5:42 am

  36. Amber Ennis Said,

Haha! Jessi, I did do Fight Gone Bad. 247 Rx’d, but I guess I didn’t push hard enough to taste pennies. That will be my goal for next time! Enjoy your time off!

  38. Meggin Kremer Said,

Maybe THAT’S why I almost threw up during this wod. The pennies.
