CFS Members: Due to vacations, baseball games, soccer practices, basketball camps, swimming lessons, and the many other summertime events which fill our kids schedules to the brim, CrossFit Springfield will be putting our CrossFit Kids Program on hold until the fall. This is effective immediately. We’ll give you a heads up prior to re-launch. Thanks!

“CrossFit Golf”

The objective of “CrossFit Golf” is to complete the WOD in the fewest possible number of sets. For example, if the WOD contains 10 Pull Ups and it takes you 5,3, and 2 reps complete the 10, then your score would be 3. This WOD is NOT for time so you may rest prn in between sets.

Perform the following 8 movements in the fewest possible number of sets. You may execute the WOD in any order you wish but there is a 45 minute time-limit. Par for the course = 8.

30 Deadlift 185/105lb
50 Ring Dips (scale with band assisted dips OR box dips)
30 Pull Ups
50 Push Ups
30 Overhead Squats 105/65lb
50 Knees to Elbows
30 Wall Balls 20/14lb
50 Double Unders (scale with 150 regular j.rope)

The 2010 CrossFit Games Midwestern Sectionals “Air Force WOD” … [wmv] [mov]

“THE AIR FORCE WOD”

For time:
20 Thrusters
20 Sumo deadlift high pulls
20 Push jerks
20 Overhead squats
20 Front squats

Men RX = 95lb barbell. Women RX = 65lbs. Each athlete must do four burpees at the beginning of every minute (4 burpees at 3..2..1..GO) before moving on to the barbell work. The athlete is allowed to move to the next barbell skill once an he/she has completed all 20 reps. If the minute clock beeps during a repetition the athlete will complete their rep and then start their four burpees. Post times to Comments. Compare to 2/15/10

Your coach will randomly draw playing cards from a full, shuffled deck.  As a group, you will perform the tasks that correlate with each card (everyone must perform the tasks!). Complete as many cards as possible in 35min.
